What is Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana?
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a major welfare scheme of the Government of India, which aims to provide healthy, safe and pucca housing facilities to every family in the country. This scheme is being effectively operated in both rural and urban areas. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1.20 lakh to Rs 1.30 lakh is provided by the government to the eligible beneficiaries to build a pucca house. This amount is given in three installments, each installment of which is about Rs 40,000.
The Government of India has now started sending the amount of the first installment under the scheme to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. This assistance is being availed by those families who are still residing in slums, kutcha houses or rented houses and who do not have any pucca house of their own. Those beneficiaries who have received the first installment can now start the construction of the house. According to the progress of the construction work, the second and third installments will also be provided to them later.

PM Awas Yojana 1st Installment 2025
The first installment of the year 2025 has been released under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). The benefit of this installment is being given to those eligible families whose application has been accepted and whose survey has been completed. Within 100 days of receiving the first installment, the second and third installments are also released under the scheme. Step 1: First of all go to the official website of PMAY-G.
Step 2: Click on the “AwaasSoft” option on the homepage.
Step 3: After this click on the “Report” option.
Step 4: Now you will automatically be redirected to a new page https://rhreporting.nic.in/.
Step 5: Here select the “Site Audit” option from the menu on the left, then click on “Beneficiary Details for Verification”.
Step 6: Now the MIS Report page will open in front of you.
Step 7: Here you have to fill in the necessary information like your state, district, block, gram panchayat etc.
Step 8: After this carefully enter the given captcha code and click on the “Submit” button.
Step 9: Now the Beneficiary List will be displayed on your screen.
Step 10: You can check your name in this list to know whether you have received the first payment or not.
