The Deepam Scheme 2024 was unveiled by the Andhra Pradesh State government. The Andhra Pradesh state government has initiated the Deepam scheme 2204, offering 3 complimentary cooking gas cylinders annually to qualified female residents of Andhra Pradesh as a Diwali present.
The Deepam Scheme 2024 is included in the group of “super six” schemes launched by the Andhra Pradesh State government prior to the state election. All eligible women residents of Andhra Pradesh are encouraged to go to the official website and complete the online application form to receive the benefits of the Deepam scheme 2024.

Deepam Scheme Eligibility
- Female residents of Andhra Pradesh must be permanent citizens of the state.
- Female residents must be at least 18 years old.
- It is not allowed to have multiple LPG connections from the same OMC within one household.
- Adult females from various marginalized groups like SC, ST, MBC, AAY, PMAY-G, Tea and Ex-Tea Garden tribes, Forest Dwellers, Island and River Island residents, SECC Households (AHL TIN), and Poor Households according to 14-point declaration are eligible.
Deepam Scheme Important Dates
- Gas cylinder bookings will commence on October 24, 2024.
- Starting from October 31st, 2024, free cooking gas cylinders will be distributed to women citizens.

Deepam Scheme Application Process
- Female citizens of Andhra Pradesh seeking to benefit from the Deepam scheme are asked to visit the official Meeseva website by clicking on the provided link.
- Upon arrival at the official website’s homepage, female citizens should select the “Deepam Gas Connection” option located within the “Application Processing” section.
- On your desktop screen, a processing window will pop up for female citizens who need to choose “pending” from the options provided.
- On your computer screen, a list of requests that are waiting to be processed will be displayed; female citizens need to select their “application number”.
- The detailed request page will now show up on your desktop screen, and female citizens should download all the attached documents listed under the “attached documents” section.
- Next, female citizens need to review and modify all the fields that can be edited in the form, and then choose “Approve” in the actions taken section.
- Female citizens are required to input their oil company, gas agency, and comments before selecting the “submit” option.
- Upon approval, the customer will receive a message confirming that their request for a Deepan gas connection has been accepted. The message will include the application number and transaction number. The request has been approved.
- To finish the agency processing procedure, female citizens should revisit the home page and select the “Deepam Gas connection requests” option.
- A processing window will pop up on your desktop screen, where female citizens need to input their starting and ending dates.
- The citizens now have to input their mandal and status before clicking on the “get details” option.
- Currently, all the items designated as “To be allotted” will be visible on the screen of your desktop. Female citizens have to select the request they wish to verify on the agency’s website.
- The agency officials send the application to the DSO with detailed explanations for the necessary corrections.
- In the absence of any alterations, choose the request for processing and input the date of connection issued, consumer number, then click on the “submit” button.
- Next, the message “successfully updated” will be displayed on the screen of your computer.
- The application will now be transferred to the district supplier officer for any small adjustments.
