The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to needy girls/widows/abandoned sisters at the time of their marriage. And under the Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivaah Yojana, Rs. 49,000/- is provided in the girl’s account at the time of marriage.
Apart from this, Rs. 6000/- is provided for organizing mass marriage programs. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided by the state government for the marriage of daughters of poor, needy, destitute and helpless families of the state.
