The Assam government has launched the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan. In this program the Assam government provides financial assistance to women of self-help groups (SHGs) to start their new business in rural areas. The Lakhpati Baidev scheme which the state government unveiled on Thursday enables 40 lakh members of SHGs to become micro entrepreneurs in rural areas.
Under this scheme, eligible people will get Rs 35000 as a bank loan from the Assam government. This amount will be provided directly into the bank account of the beneficiaries. The Chief Minister of Assam unveiled the initiative while highlighting the aim to provide women workers an opportunity to receive an annual salary of Rs 1 lakh through this scheme.

Objective of Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan 2025
The Assam government has launched the initiative of Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan with the main objective. The state government wants to make every self-help group woman a lakhpati. This is how this program has been started.
The Assam government will provide financial assistance of 35000 to 40 lakh women to start their own business in rural areas. The government proudly unveiled the new program which will help 40 lakh women and the government hopes that this will fulfill the Prime Minister’s dream of making 2 crore lakhpati didis.

Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan For Eligibility Criteria
० The applicant must have permanent resident state of Assam.
० Applicant age is more than 18 year.
० Beneficiaries in the schedule castes and schedule tribes should not have more than 4 children.
० While those in the general and OBC categories should not have more 3 children.
० The girl child‘s self help group member must enroll her in school, if she is too young, she must sign a pledge to do so.
० Applicant must have to submit a proper business plan attached with Lakhpati Baideo Scheme application Form.
० Application who participate Amrit Brikshya Andolan is eligible to avail the grant under the Lakhpati Baideo Scheme.
