Objective Of Startup India Seed Fund Scheme 2025

The main objective of the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme is to provide financial assistance to innovation-based startups at an early stage so that they can realize their business ideas and develop their business on a strong foundation. Under this scheme, entrepreneurs no longer need to run around banks or other financial institutions to raise capital.

  2. For the successful implementation of this scheme, the government has allocated a total budget of Rs 945 crore, which will strengthen thousands of startups in the coming years.
  3. This fund will be mainly used for important stages like Proof of Concept, prototype manufacturing, product testing, market entry and commercialization.
  4. This amount will be provided by the government to recognized incubators, and it will be the responsibility of those incubators to provide this financial assistance to eligible startups through proper process.
  5. The government aims to provide direct benefits of this scheme to more than 3600 startups through about 300 incubators in the next four years, which will give new impetus to innovation, entrepreneurship and employment in the country.

० The startup must be recognized by DPIIT, and should not have been established more than 2 years ago at the time of application.

० The startup should have an innovative business idea with clear potential for viability, commercialization and future scalability as per market requirements.

० The core product, service, business model, delivery system or targeted problem being developed by the startup should be effectively utilizing technology.

Eligibility Criteria for Incubator:

० The incubator must be a valid and registered legal entity.

० The minimum operational period of the incubator should be two years as of the date of application.

० The incubator must have adequate seating capacity for at least 25 people.

०The incubator must have at least 5 startups physically in the incubation process as of the date of application.

STEP 4. Create an Account

STEP 6. Do OTP verification
An OTP (Time Password) will come on your mobile number. Enter the OTP in the corresponding box and click on “Submit”.
