The Telangana Crop Loan Waiver Scheme was part of the guarantee scheme that was launched by the Congress government before the elections in the Telangana state.
Under this scheme, all the farmers of Telangana state who have taken a loan between December 11, 2018, to December 9, 2023 are eligible to avail the crop loan waiver scheme. Only those farmers of Odisha state who have taken short-term loans are eligible for this scheme.
